A touchstone, a return to your words and interior life as the seasons shift.
Once weekly, we’ll meet on Zoom to practice prompt-based, timed writing exercises designed to be generative, rhythmic, low-stakes, and fun. Think of this like a writing aerobics class—a place to improve creative circulation, strengthen and stretch narrative muscles, and connect with your voice. You’ll be surprised by what emerges on the page and inspired by the company of others. Sharing is optional but highly encouraged. All writers are welcome.

<aside> 🕯️ In her classes, Kate creates the perfect container. One that is sturdy, with her deep understanding of craft; safe, with great empathy and care; yet also flexible — each of the three workshops I’ve taken with her have taken on different textures and shapes. Consistent across them all was the gift of a community of writers and pages I am proud of. - Madeleine R, Winter 2025
